Silky Oak Country Club
It is the latest addition golf course of the St.Andrews 2000 group. It shares the same venue with the famous St. Andrews 2000, and the Rayong Green Valley.
Name It's distinctively named after a native of Australian tree that resembles pine tree and is the main tree planted throughout the golf course. The backside of the leaf has the colour of silver gray colour that looks attractively with the wind.
Designer St.Andrews 2000 Staff.
Concept It is conceptually designed to differentiate itself from the other traditional design. Significantly,it offers golfers with different feel than St.Andrews 2000 and Green Valley courses. It ideally has wider fairways and larger greens but yet requires a decent short game. Collectively, with the St.Andrews 2000. And the Green Valley it's conveniently the one stop golf holidays destination.
Twin courses The most unusual and interesting unique design has made the Silky Oak golf courses as the Twin Courses. It features 2 sets of green and tee that situated next to each other. Individually, each 18 holes has it's own character.
For example: 1) A course is designed to be played on even calender days, the course features a British style design with pot bunkers and oval or round greens.
2) B course is designed to be played on odd calender days, the course features an American style design with free form bunkers and greens.
Snack House The half-way house is located on top of the hill that has breathakingly 360 panoramic view.
We are sincerely hopeful that this newest addition of Silky Oak will be a course that you can enjoy just as much as the St.Andrews 2000& the Rayong Green Valley.
